Fast, clean Bluebook citations—without the fuss.
BBright is a citation-formatting assistant for legal writing. Paste your source info, get a Bluebook‑style citation you can review and copy.
Paid Beta
BBright is currently offered as a paid beta. The core citation engine is stable, fast, and highly consistent, and it’s already in daily use by law students, faculty, editors, librarians, and practicing attorneys.
At this stage, BBright focuses on standard Bluebook case citations. Support for public-domain formats, subsequent history, and additional source types is planned but not yet available.
As with any citation tool, BBright is designed to assist—not replace—editorial judgment. You should always review citations for accuracy and rule fit before final submission.
How it works
1) Enter source details
Paste a complete case caption (for example, from the top of a Lexis or Westlaw case page).
2) BBright formats a citation
BBright applies Bluebook rules directly to your source text—rather than relying on preformatted citations or metadata.
3) Copy & use it
Copy the citation into your memo, brief, article, or notes.
Designed for LRW workflows
Helpful for students, faculty, editors, librarians, practicing attorneys—and anyone who needs consistent citation formatting.
